About Simon

Photography has taken me all round the world and has given me many opportunities, and it’s often surprising how building a relationship somewhere often leads you off in another direction.

I have worked in the Bahamas, Canada, Australia… eventually settling back in the UK.
Where I like to think I am different is being able to deal with all kinds of people – from the man on the shop floor of a factory to the CEO of a plc company.
I have shot a vast selection of people and products whether that be on location or in a studio.
I love the challenge of a shoot when you turn up and you often find you have a limited time to get that all important shot. Or you are asked to climb halfway up a mountain in Wales to cover an event.
Images can be very powerful and when backed up with excellent journalism they can take the reader on a fantastic journey.
Having freelanced at Future Publishing in Bath for the past ten years I have had the privilege of working with some great people on various magazine titles and have been part of the digital change over during that time.
